We would buy through Averill again.

Rod & I purchased our fabulous home through Averill. We were walked through the processes from start to finish, from information on building inspections, convincing services and utilities through to emailing contracts to our bank. Averill acted as a go between by picking up the phone and negotiating access, settlement dates and purchase of whitegoods to the satisfaction of us and the vendors days before the solicitors would have done (dictation, typing, snail mail to other parties) We were kept up to date during the process by Averill and not our own well-paid solicitors. Averill even popped by after we moved to see if we were settling in ok. We might have to put her on the Christmas Card list 😊 Gazumping is still legal in NSW. Despite the laws and Averill’s clear obligations to the vendors, I was so confident in her words that “this home is yours for the duration of the offer period” that we put deposits on new furniture prior to settlement. If we hadn’t just found our forever home we would buy through Averill again and will if we ever become investors in Real Estate. She has proven her ability to look after all parties. We are very happy little vegemite’s.

Results of the sale were well above my expectations

Averill came to do the appraisal and immediately got to work on a marketing strategy. This was my first property sale and I was very naïve in the way of Real Estate and I must admit to being a more than a little apprehensive about the process. But her confidence and professionalism soon calmed my jangled nerves. She took it upon herself to organise everything for me. Everything from conveyancing to advertising and photography; property inspections; surveyors reports and dealings with the mortgagee. She even organised a television campaign. Averill arranged to hold our weekly meetings at my house so I wouldn’t be inconvenienced by having them at her office. She rang me every couple of days with updates on the proceedings. Her promptness amazed me; she rang one day to say she would be three minutes late – I laughed!
